Fun Fridays in the Winter

Ski Runners | Skate Runners | Art Runners

Beginning the first Friday afternoon starting January 5th-March 2nd (no classes February 23rd)  TPVS in conjunction with other organizations, will over a winter program for students grades 1 through 6 to complement regular classroom instruction.  Kindergarten classroom instruction continues as usual.

Please have your child choose on program to attend, scholarships are available for all activities.  Please return forms Ski Runner forms to Suicide Six.  All other forms can be returned to the school office, Artistree or Union Arena.

The Prosper Valley Chess club

Open to students from second grade to sixth, from new learners to experienced players. 

When: Thursdays, March through April from 3:00-4:00
Where: The Prosper Valley School multi-purpose room
Who: All Prosper Valley School students interested in playing chess. If you need help learning the game, there are many students who will help you. If you are looking for a challenge, there are advanced players to make you think!

Parents: There are many aspects of The Prosper Valley Chess Club children enjoy but, without a doubt, the most relished part will be snack time! Parents of participants are asked to provide snack for just one afternoon session. While there is no fee for the Chess Club, it is important that all families support the program by providing these snacks.

Sports through the Woodstock Rec Center

Students can participate in a variety of sports activities through the Woodstock Recreation Center.

TPVS drum corps

Mark van Gulden, Music Director at ArtisTree, is excited to continue Drum Corps at The Prosper Valley School on Wednesdays from 3-4pm. TPVS Drum Corps will play for two parades and a marathon in the spring. For students in grades 4-6.  Please contact Mark directly to sign up your child or with questions:  markvangulden@gmail.com.
